By submitting a job request or posting a job on Property Care Hub, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. You understand and accept that these terms govern the use of our services.

Property Care Hub is an online platform where customers can post job requests and receive quotations from reputable contractors. We provide reputable contractors with access to job opportunities, allowing them to offer free, no-obligation quotations (unless otherwise indicated by them to you).

 

5. Definitions

• Contractors: These are the registered professionals on our platform who are monitored for their quality of workmanship, customer feedback, punctuality, pricing, and reliability.

• Customers/Clients: Refers to you, the individual or company seeking qualified contractors for maintenance or service work.

• Skillset: Refers to the qualifications or expertise of a contractor, including certifications from regulatory bodies such as NICEIC (Electrician) or Gas Safe Register.

• Website Content: Includes all images, text, graphics, and other content displayed on our site.

 

6. Feedback and Reviews
We encourage customers to provide feedback on contractors, regardless of whether they have hired them. This feedback helps us in allowing the right contractor to be a part of our ever-growing network.  Reviews should be genuine and may be made publicly available which can be viewed by both contractors and other users.

 

7. GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and Data Protection
We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR. By using our services, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal information for the purpose of providing our services. We will never share your personal details publicly, and we will only share your information with contractors registered on our platform to facilitate the quotation process. You may opt-out of promotional emails at any time.

 

8. How We Use Your Information
By posting a job on our platform, you agree to share certain details with our registered contractors, including:

• Your name

• Contact details (address, phone number, email)

• Job description and any relevant images (that do not identify your personal information)

• Optional budget details

Contractors will use this information to contact you and provide you with a quotation. You can expect to be contacted within 48 hours, although many contractors will respond promptly.

 

9. Honesty and Integrity
We request that customers post only jobs they intend to have completed in the near future. Contractors should only quote for work they can undertake within a reasonable time frame. We strive to verify job requests, and we reserve the right to remove or refuse job postings if they cannot be verified or meet our criteria.

 

10. Terms of Business
By using Property Care Hub, you acknowledge and agree that we are not liable for any loss, damage, or dispute arising between you and a contractor. Any agreements, disputes, or claims arising from your interaction with a contractor are your responsibility. Property Care Hub disclaims all liability in these matters, both during and after the completion of the job.

 

11. Non-Display of Jobs or Refused Listings
If your job is not displayed to contractors or you have not received any responses, it may be due to one of the following reasons:

• The job cannot be verified

• The job does not fall within our scope or limitations

• The required skillset is not available within our network

• The job is deemed inappropriate or irrelevant

We may also refuse listings due to unresolved disputes or inappropriate behaviour, including but not limited to:

• Failure to pay contractors

• Placing job requests without the intention to proceed

• Raising false claims or complaints

• Discriminatory behaviour

• Aggressive or rude conduct

 

12. Complaints and Disputes
If you encounter any issues with a contractor, please contact us immediately. We will investigate and take appropriate action, which may include issuing a written warning, suspending the contractor’s account, or permanently banning them. However, we do not intervene in disputes between you and contractors directly. You are responsible for conducting due diligence before hiring any contractor.

If you have a complaint about Property Care Hub, please submit it in writing (email is preferred). We will aim to respond within 7 days.

 

13. Changes to Terms and Conditions
Property Care Hub reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions periodically. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review these terms regularly.
