Contractor Terms and Conditions

Introduction

Welcome to Property Care Hub (PCH), your trusted platform for accessing and purchasing customer leads. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all contractors ("Account Holders") who are register on the Property Care Hub website and purchase leads generated by us. By applying for an account, you agree to comply with these Terms, which may be updated periodically. Violation of these Terms may result in account suspension, investigation, or permanent termination.

Definitions

  1. Contractor Account: Refers to the account registered by the Account Holder to access and purchase customer leads.

  2. Contractor: Refers to you, the individual or the company you represent, or any other contractor registered with Property Care Hub to purchase leads.

  3. Skillset: The services you can provide, either accredited (e.g., plumber, gas engineer) or non-accredited (e.g., handyman, gardener). Proof of accreditation is required for certain skillsets.

  4. Lead: Refers to the customer’s contact information (name, address, phone number, and job description) which you can purchase for the opportunity to provide a free, no-obligation quote unless you state otherwise to the customer (emergency works, call out etc).

  5. Client: Refers to the customers that Property Care Hub serves and holds in the highest regard.

  6. Website Content: All information, images, and text on the Property Care Hub website.

  7. GDPR: Refers to the General Data Protection Regulation. You agree to comply with data protection laws and grant us permission to share your details with customers as necessary.

  8. Tax and VAT: Contractors are responsible for reporting their income, expenses, and VAT obligations. Property Care Hub is not liable for your tax affairs.

 

Contractor Responsibilities

  • Account Access: Your account is for personal use only and may not be shared or transferred to others without prior approval.

  • Accurate Information: It is your responsibility to provide and maintain accurate personal and professional information. Failure to do so may result in account suspension.

  • Skillset and Qualifications: If your work requires certification (e.g., Gas Safe, NICEIC), you must provide proof before gaining access to the relevant leads.

  • Feedback: You agree to allow Property Care Hub to obtain and retain feedback from clients regarding the services you provide.

 

Lead Purchase and Use

  • Lead Purchase: When you purchase a lead, you gain the opportunity to contact the customer and offer a quote. However, Property Care Hub does not guarantee that the lead will result in a job.

  • Lead Refunds: Leads are non-refundable. If you believe a lead is invalid or unverified, you must notify us within 48 hours of purchasing the lead for a potential like for like replacement or credit.

  • Customer Refusal: A customer is entitled to refuse a quote or choose another contractor at any time. This will not be considered a false lead.

  • Lead Verification: Property Care Hub endeavours to ensure leads are valid, but cannot be held liable for any incorrect or incomplete lead details.

 

Contractor Conduct

By using Property Care Hub, you agree to:

  • Treat customers with respect and professionalism.

  • Arrive on time for scheduled appointments and honor all commitments.

  • Provide accurate and transparent pricing.

  • Maintain a high standard of workmanship and uphold your reputation.

  • Adhere to all local tax laws and trading standards.

 

Prohibited Conduct:

Any aggressive behaviour, dishonesty, or unethical conduct, including under-pricing to gain an advantage or failing to complete work, will result in immediate suspension and possible permanent ban.

 

Account Suspension and Termination

  • Property Care Hub reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account without prior notice in cases of, but not limited to:

    • Poor customer feedback or quality of work.

    • Non-compliance with local tax laws.

    • Fraudulent activity or violation of these Terms.

    • Poor payment history or insolvency.

  • If your account is suspended, we may provide a reason for the action. You may contest this decision, but Property Care Hub reserves the right to take the final decision.

 

Data Protection and GDPR Compliance

As a contractor and data holder, you are responsible for complying with all relevant data protection laws. You shall not share, publish, or discuss any customer data without explicit written consent from the customer. This includes any job details, quotes, or personal information.

 

Payments and Credits

  • Lead Costs: Payment for leads is final, and no refunds will be issued. Any credits or discounts offered are non-transferable and may only be used towards future purchases of leads.

  • Payment Methods: All payments must be made securely via our website. We do not accept payments by phone, cash, or any other method.

  • Chargebacks: In the event of a chargeback, a £40 administration fee may be applied, in addition to the cost of the original lead.

 

Disputes

  • All disputes must be submitted in writing. We will review and respond to any issues raised in a timely and professional manner.

  • Communications may be recorded for quality, training, and security purposes.

 

Website Terms

  • The content of the Property Care Hub website is protected under copyright laws. You may not reproduce or distribute any part of the website without our express written permission.

  • Accounts are non-transferable, and attempts to circumvent suspensions or bans will result in permanent termination of your account.

 

Closing Your Account

You may close your account at any time by notifying us via email. After a cooling-off period (typically 14 days), your account will be permanently removed. We may also close your account for reasons including, but not limited to, poor payment history, poor performance, or bringing Property Care Hub into disrepute.

 

Acceptance of Terms
